Vascular Solutions offers a variety of hemostasis products used to stop bleeding. While many products marketed as hemostats simply use mechanical means such as pressure to promote hemostasis, our D-Stat products rely on biologically active components to induce bleeding cessation.

Our unique D-Stat products are based on the science and proven clotting power of thrombin. A natural component of the clotting cascade, thrombin cleaves fibrinogen to fibrin, enhancing the body's own ability to produce clot.
