Test Lab Technician (1202-01)

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for providing quality support to our product development and manufacturing projects. This will include: performing product testing, DVT, stability, and qualification studies, coordinating tests to meet deadlines, assisting in selecting test methods, procedures and equipment.
Requirements: BA/BS in a scientific discipline required. 0-2yrs of laboratory experience preferred. Must have knowledge of GLP guidelines, and Good oral and written communication skills

Associate Engineer (1201-05)

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities: The Associate Engineer program provides entry-level opportunities for high achievement technically-gifted individuals to start an engineering career in the medical device industry. This new program consists of a twelve month combination of training, education and hands-on assignments in the R&D, manufacturing, process development and quality engineering departments of a medical device company.
Requirements: BS in Engineering degree with demonstrated outstanding achievement, or a technical degree with a minimum of two years of mechanical design experience. QS Associate (1201-04)

QA/QS Associate
Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of and providing improvements to a variety of Quality System programs including: Customer Complaints, Supplier Quality, Internal Audit and CAPAs. You will also be responsible for maintaining databases for monitoring programs, assisting with preparations for management reviews and supporting manufacturing by providing compliance assistance and approval of new suppliers.

Marketing Analyst (1201-03)

Responsibilities: The Marketing Analyst program provides entry-level opportunities for high achievement individuals to start a career in the medical device industry. The two year program consists of rotational assignments within all facets of medical device marketing and sales. The first year of the program will consist of extensive training and project assignments in the product management, training and sales operations areas. Second year assignments will consist of advanced marketing, product management and sales roles.

International Sales Coordinator (1201-02)

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for providing organizational and marketing support to the international sales employees and distributors. These activities will include, but not be limited to, coordination and management of all international distributor agreements and renewals; management and reporting of distributor quotas, sales results and projections; managing the transition of marketing materials into use in international markets and producing the International distributor newsletter. Process Development Engineer (1112-07)

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing process validations and transfering validated processes and equipment into production for commercial manufacturing. You will be responsible for developing and documenting manufacturing processes capable of producing products to meet established design specifications and cost targets in a timely and efficient manner as well as working with production to produce initial finished goods inventory for new product launches.
Requirements: BS in Engineering or physical science with a minimum of two years experience in a Process Development or Manufacturing Engineering role in the medical device field. Comparable skills and knowledge acquired through six plus years experience may be considered in lieu of education. Responsibilities: In this position we will rely on you to support the manufacture of medical devices used in interventional cardiology and radiology by assisting in the development of manufacturing processes and documentation that meets GMP, ISO and FDA requirements. Facilities Supervisor (1112-03)

Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for maintaining all VSI facilities as clean, operational, safe and comfortable work environments per GMP guidelines while staying within budget. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, developing safety programs and employee training, planning and scheduling contract services for construction projects including HVAC, electrical and CEA systems and ensuring optimal functionality of our building systems including mechanical, fire/life safety, environmental, etc.

Systems Analyst / Developer (1112-02)

Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing and implementation of custom developed software solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining VSI’s websites and web based applications and responding to application support requests. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing computer applications and information systems and the underlying database technologies to ensure performance and reliability. You will be responsible for providing basic support for servers, workstations, mobile devices and other related technology at VSI. Manufacturing Operations Management Professional (1111-01)

Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for creating, managing, and improving systems resulting in the efficient and reliable production of all Vascular Solutions’ products. You will be responsible for maintaining a sufficient quantity of high quality products in finished goods without excess inventory or expenses. You will play an active role in senior-level negotiations with suppliers and manufacturing partners and interface with Production Engineering and Marketing to ensure smooth and efficient new product launches. You will utilize supply-chain and logistics analytics and dashboards to ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods. You will also be responsible for creating, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines as needed to improve logistic results and process rigor as well as select and supervise qualified production management personnel.

Regulatory Product Specialist (1110-01)

Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for drafting regulatory submissions and market authorizations while meeting deadlines without excessive expenditures. This will include 510(k)s, pre-IDEs, PMAs, technical files/design dossiers, and other ROW product applications. You will ensure regulatory requirements for labeling and promotional materials are met as well as maintain appropriate regulatory files and communicate with regulatory bodies. You will participate in product development teams and review and approve test protocols and reports (DVT, biocompatibility, sterilization, packing, shelf-life, etc).

Responsibilities: Vascular Solutions is in search of a seasoned, hands-on Sr. R&D Engineer best described as a “been there and done that” go-to person. Responsibilities: In this position you will be responsible for implementing and creating sales/promotional programs for an assigned group of products and representing the marketing department on product development projects.
